Details

Favincons should be kept in cache. Making the request each time is a (minor) waste of bandwith. Besides, that way as soon the user enters the URL, the Icon could appear. Favicons should be displayed also on the Bookmarks menu, but I guess is already under works.
The favicons _are_ kept in cache. They in fact have a separate cache so normal content will not evict them.
