Details

Build 2001112003 Windows 98

1) Use Ctrl+T to open an new tab

Actual results:

New tab opens with URL bar site icon enabled, so drag and drop hand icon appears
when mouse is over it, but can't drag and drop anyway.

Expected results:

New tab opens with site icon disabled, since this is not yet a URL that has been
accessed. This is consistent with current bahavior, disabling the icon for
hand-typed URLs.
component Tabbed Browser, since this is about tabs and not urlbar.

Some remarks:

1.tooltiptext stays 'Drag and drop this icon to create a link to this page'
Huh, 'drag and drop...' this can't be true now is it? Should be removed!

2.clicking the bookmark icon will open the 'Add Bookmark' dialog
Why on earth bookmark 'about:blank' pages? This should be disabled!

note: this should also be removed/disabled if you switch tabs.
Ok, this bug is under control now but I need code from the patch in bug 104778
to get it working (consider to dup this bug). I will make a new patch for 104778
with this fix in it, ok?

BTW: the favicon isn't re-loaded after you press esc in de url bar, but I will
try to fix that also.
HJ,

If your patch in 104778 fixes this, great! Please mark this fixed when that
goes in, but don't dupe it. No point in adding confusion to that already
confused bug.
