User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Mobile; ALCATELOneTouch6015X; rv:32.0) Gecko/32.0 Firefox/32.0 Build ID: 20141212160145 Steps to reproduce: 6015x device with Firefox os 2.0 and the app "MultiFlash" from Market Place. Vibration is turned off in system settings. Actual results: When turning on or off the light in the app the device is vibrating. Expected results: No vibrating at all. I was a little surprised, how a small app can "override" the system setting.
Additional info: there is only 1 app permission for all (flashlight AND vibrating). The Os setting vibration off and giving this app the permission results in flashing and vibrating phone.

(In reply to ttest11 from comment #1) > Additional info: there is only 1 app permission for all (flashlight AND > vibrating). The Os setting vibration off and giving this app the permission > results in flashing and vibrating phone. That's not exactly right -- no app permission is required to use the Vibration API. That API is available to all web content without requesting special permission. See https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Apps/Build/App_permissions
