Hi Lu Wei, Before creating a new community group it's best to get buy-in from the existing community leaders in that area. Forgive me, but I'm afraid I don't know if you are such a leader. I cannot find your name here, for example: https://wiki.mozilla.org/L10n:Teams:zh-CN, and I can't find an entry for you in mozillians.org. Can you help me understand why you are proposing this group, and why you are the right person to run it? Gerv
(In reply to Gervase Markham [:gerv] from comment #1) I am a long-time mozilla product user and a Usenet user. Not fanatic as before maybe, they are still my favorite network software and service. I am not in any affiliation with the l10n team, though I see a familiar name in that page, who I know was a Usenet fan too. And I haven't heard of mozillians.org until today. I run a little Usenet server for myself. Recently I received some new group notifications, which belongs to mozilla.community.*. I suddenly thought: "Is there any mozilla group specific to Chinese users?" A search gives me none, so I simply think there should be one. Surely, I think there should be better candidates to "run" the group. But I did not see "moderated" flag in other community groups. If a moderator is mandatory, then I will raise it in a Chinese group to see if others are interested. If no one takes it, then I will try it myself. Hope it will not be too hard! p.s. I just registered mozillian.org. That page has a bug: if I select "help" icon in the items I could help, the page cannot proceed. I have to choose "translation" or others. Maybe that bug should be reported separately, if you could confirm it.

Today I tried again, after my mozillian account has been created, and using a proxy, that this option works. So it may be Chinese government's fault, or Noscript forbid some scripts.
Hi Lu Wei, Mozilla has an active Chinese community; you should contact some of the people listed on one of these two pages: https://wiki.mozilla.org/L10n:Teams:zh-CN https://wiki.mozilla.org/L10n:Teams:zh-TW to find out where they hang out. I would not be inclined to create a new group for Chinese users without the assent of the leaders of our existing Chinese community. If they are in favour, then they should come and reopen this bug :-) Gerv
