Bango and Telefonica are getting ready to transfer Spain, Mexico and Colombia off of Bluevia and directly to Bango. Telefonica would like to ensure that we will not need a further addendum to the agreement in order to make the switch. Can you please let me know if any changes will need to be made to the agreement in order to pull Bluevia off of Telefonica?
Hi Mika - I asked Lindsay to create this bug. Happy to discuss with you if it makes more sense for me to do this - but thought you might have the answer in your head.... Jeff
I don't know why we would need another agreement. Does any of the rev-share get impacted? If TEF thinks we do, then ask them to clarify why. Usually they are much more overly attached to contracts than we are.
I do not believe the rev share will be impacted as bluevia should be handeled by TEF and not in the agreement for our rev share. Mozilla and Telefonica will not be changing the split between them or the payout to Bango. TEF asked me to double check on our end to ensure that we were ready to go and a new agreement didn't need to be signed.
Since there are no changes to any of the substantive issues in the contracts, I don't think a new agreement is required. Our payment addedum clearly says that payments is Mozilla's responsibility to outsource to Bango. Any details for implementaion is to be worked out by Bango. Closing this bug, since agreement is not needed. Please reach out to me and Jeff if TEF changes their mind. Thanks Lindsay! Mika
