You mean an imap share aka namespace like described at http://www.emaildiscussions.com/showthread.php?t=69315 where more than one person has access? How exactly do you have it defined in Tools | Account Settings?

Yes the account is IMAP. The folder was created when I right clicked on the account and clicked new folder when I was trying to figure out why none of the other folders like inbox or sent were no longer showing up, but after that, I can try to delete it, but thunderbird does nothing.
