Steps to reproduce:

Saving an image from internet to the device


Actual results:

Imagefilename.jpg.jpeg is saved within the downloads folder on the sd card.


Expected results:

Just 1 version of the image file type is saved to the device

Pic of the downloads folder Os 2.0 sdcard1(ext). The combination Imagefilname.png.jpg is also possible (but i do not find the pic in internet any more).

Confirming this bug with Geeksphone Keon running FxOS 2.0 from early April and Flame running 2.2 20150519002500. .jpg files are being saved as .jpg.jpeg

I also see this on Trunk (in a Spark build).  I loaded http://people.mozilla.org/~myk/headshots/headshot-2014.jpg, long-pressed on it, and selected Save Image from the context menu, whereupon the file was saved as headshot-2014.jpg.jpeg.

I suspect this is a Gaia::Browser issue, so I'm moving it into that component (but please correct if it's actually an underlying platform issue).
