STR: 1. Try to type "$ " in a SMS. (as in "bring $ for food") ACTUAL RESULTS: "$" is autocorrected to "A" EXPECTED RESULTS: No autocorrection. I have no idea why the "$-->A" mapping would be in there. The keys for "A" and "$" don't even overlap, when you compare their keyboard modes (symbols vs. letters). We also don't bother to autocorrect the symbol-keys that *do* overlap "A" (@ and #), so I'm not sure why we have this autocorrect rule for "$" which does not overlap it.
I hit this on my Flame phone, running Firefox OS 2.1, and I can reproduce it (I see the correction at least) in the 2.1 Simulator as well. I do not see this autocorrection (or any suggestions at all for "$") in the 2.2 Simulator, however, so this may have been fixed in the trunk of gaia, and the fix simply hasn't made it to 2.1.
