Go to Preferences (about:preferences) -> The subcategories name is not aligned with the other elements of the page. Please see screenshot "1.png".

I can't reproduce this issue on Windows, so I suspect that it is OSX only (as your patch alludes to). Can you make sure that it is not also needed on Linux?

Verified on Mac OSX 10.9.5 using latest Nightly 38.0a1 (buildID: 20150125030202) and the subcategories name is aligned with the other elements of the page. There still are alignement issues on Search and Advanced panels. Please see screenshots "issue Advanced.png" and "issue Search.png". These issues will be fixed separately? Should I fill a new bug for these?
