To facilitate a whole bunch of magic future stuff including historical searches of your own data, I propose that Firefox store visited site's meta tags alongside stuff like title and URL, and that this data be searched for and stored by the usual suspects.

Unfortunately we don't have a sufficient balance between size and performance atm, so we can't do this. On the other side we are storing description for Activity Stream, and as such in the future that could become searchable.
