Steps to reproduce:

I have an add-on that makes Firefox restart itself. Very useful when settings are changed
or for other reasons. For the last few months, when Firefox is restarted, the main or
original page is blank. Whatever was on the page before, the address bar still has that
data. But the page does not load. Web site, Home Page, whatever.


Actual results:

I just installed a new add-on. I saw the [must restart] button and pressed it.
When Firefox restarted, the screen was blank. Before, I thought the add-on was
causing the issue. But now . . . . . .

I turned off Hardware a long time ago. You will notice in my list I have two restart
add-ons. One one is active. And I get the blank screen with both, and the restart in
the Add-ons Manager.

Attention ! ! Several users are having problems with getting the white screen.

I turned off Hardware a long time ago.

Tomorrow, I will create a new profile. Since Firefox does not have a restart button
outside of the Add-ons Manager, I will install something that needs a restart.

Today, I created a totally blank profile. The only thing on it was 2 disabled plugins.
I went to Febe's backup folder, and added a restarting program. I restarted using
the Add-ons Manager re-starter. No problem Noticed. I then opened the test profile,
and used the re-starter add-on. Still no problems. I will now start adding the rest
of my add-ons one at a time to see if the problem returns.

Good day. For a time now, I have been having a problem with Firefox.

When Firefox is re-started internally, it opens but only shows a blank white page.
I contacted Bugzilla (Mozilla) who suggested creating a blank profile.

I did, and there were no problems. So I started installing the add-ons I had
in the original profile. When I loaded Coolpreviews the problem came back.

I created another blank profile, and only installed Coolpreviews. The problem came back.
