STR: 1. Open Firefox using a clean profile; 2. Navigate to about:newtab; 3. Switch the page to blank (gear icon); 4. Click on the URL bar and press "Tab" three times; 5. Enter any word/term/letter and press enter. Expected Result: The search bar cannot be focused when the page is blank. Actual Result: The search bar from the about:newtab page is selected and the search can be performed even if the page is blank. Notes: Reproducing on Windows 7 64-bit, Windows 8.1 64-bit, Ubuntu 12.04 32-bit and Mac OS X 10.9.5. This issue is not a regression, it reproduces back to Firefox 31 when Search was introduced in the new tab page.
