Currently, Firefox for Android allows users to open Hello links and complete a call in this manner. For those people who accept these links, I'd like them to be able to generate a link from the browser as well in order to complete the experience until a mobile client is ready and available. 

I would suggest this action be in the 'Tools' menu as it does not need much more product elevation (visibility) for this target use case. It is assumed WebDev is required to ensure a corresponding web page can be employed to complete the action adequately.

Romain can help figure out dependent bugs as a result, and Jenn can help manage from a project management perspective as well (and ensure we have corresponding cards for the appropriate bugs). 

No specific timing is being targeted, however it would be most excellent to coincide with Hello marketing, but is not mandatory.

Nominated for visibility first, but the bug to add the ability to create the link should be the one for tracking to a specific release once timing for the (assumed) corresponding web page is figured out.

Few notes about this.
It is great to see this working on my Android phone without any other apps.

I would love to see what Karen suggests on this bug.

Running Firefox Hello on Galaxy Nexus was rather painful. Delays of audio/video. A normal conversation could not be kept.

Do we have a way to discern minimum requirements from a browser and do not allow a call? or give a message saying that try at your own risk (knowing that minimum specs are not met)?

I also got an OOM. I had to reboot before I could try again.
Could we start the call on a separate process? If we OOM, only that process is killed. I don't know if this is the right way but just throwing it out there.
