Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:35.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/35.0
Build ID: 20150108202552

Steps to reproduce:

- I'm (accidentally) clicking on an encrypted message A in the inbox.
- message A has "ask for reading confirmation" active
- this triggers the engimail password dialog, which in recent versions takes a few seconds on my system (otherwise it's fast)
- I don't want to decrypt & read this message now and click on another message B before the enigmail window appears
- message B does not request a reading confirmation

My versions:
TB 31.4.0
Enigmail 1.7.2
Lightning 3.3.2
BirdieSync 2.4.10.0
Später Senden 4.3.1

Actual results:

Upon clicking on message B TB displays "the sender of message B asks for reading confirmation", which is wrong.

I'm not sure if other attributes of message A, which may be invisible to me, are also erroneously assigned to message B.

Expected results:

The message "the sender of message B asks for reading confirmation" should not have appeared.

skylined, can you reproduce this using the reporter's steps?

(reporter writes " after many years of TB I've switched to eM Client so I can synchronize with my Microsoft account."

Sorry, I don't know how to send myself a message with a "read confirmation request" to test this. I've tried sending myself an encrypted email with "Options > Return Receipt" enabled, as I assume this is what the reporter is talking about, but when reading this email, I did not see a message saying "the sender of message X asks for reading confirmation". I am probably doing something wrong and may have non-default settings that mess this up for me.

Enigmail is no longer a thing. Please file a new bug report if something similar occurs with OpenPGP.
