Details

When loading a page that has embedded QuickTime movies (such as any of the
trailers found at http://www.apple.com/trailers/), the QuickTime Plugin menu on
the far-right of the controller does not function. The menu appears, but none
of its selections does anything.

As a result one cannot save a QuickTime movie to disk, nor change the Plugin
settings from the browser, etc.

This bug occurs using the Mozilla 0.9.6 milestone release (Build ID: 2001112020)
on Mac OS X 10.1.1.
dup of bug 108835?
I don't believe so; that dealt more with contextual menus (control-clicks or
right-clicks), whereas this deals with the basic functionality of the QuickTime
plugin.

Control-clicking does indeed bring up the same menu, and it's ignored, too, but
then Mozilla's Contextual menu pops up when you dismiss QuickTime's. Kinda
annoying.
this should be working now..marking dup

I really don't think this bug is a duplicate of the bug in question; they seem
to be related, perhaps, but I think they're distinct bugs.

At what point did it start working for you? Unless there is a nightly build
that came after the 0.9.6 release that fixed this issue, it's not fixed yet;
I've verified that the bug exists on multiple machines.
ok..pls let me check on today's mac os X trunk and I will comment asap.
