Steps to reproduce:

There is no plugin for a .DNL file reader. Bug No 250577 refers to it, but has apparently expired. I have the latest Firefox release and I am unable to find a .dnl plugin.
I wanted to see the tutorial videos for Desktopauthor.com and for .dnl files a blank screen was presented.


Actual results:

The message on the blank screen said something like "plugin not available"


Expected results:

The .Dnl file showing the tutorial should be playable.

A bit of googling shows you can get something that is supposed to work at http://www.digitalwebbooks.com/reader/ . I take no responsibility for whether it works or does really terrible things to your machine, but you can give it a shot.

Firefox won't automatically find you plugins anymore, and that isn't expected to change, so I'm going to close this bug as invalid as the expectation that we ever shipped such a plugin is mistaken, nor are we currently planning to do so in the future.
