We (Mozillians.org) are facing an authorization issue when trying to query basket-dev API (https://basket-dev.allizom.org/) with the credentials from this [1] bug. The API query used is:

https://basket-dev.allizom.org/news/lookup-user/?api-key=<api-key>&email=<email>

And the response:

{"status": "error", "code": 1, "desc": "Server raised fault: 'Authorization Failed'"}

After a brief discussion with :pmac our api-key is valid.

The root issue isn't. Talk to Ben. Something went weird with the wbowden account at ET and messed it all up.

pmac - I have a feeling we need to update the password associated with wbowden's login (either in ET's sandbox and/or in Basket). Holler at me on IRC so we can coordinate the change. Thanks!

Fixed!

The vendor id "download_firefox_android" defined in the basket dev didn't exist in the Sandbox ExactTarget data extensions - so it was failing all calls. It doesn't appear to be a prob on prod - so life is good.
