User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:35.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/35.0 Build ID: 20150112203352 Steps to reproduce: I tried to shallow flash on ubuntu several flame images above v2.0 to my zte open c according to the description here: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS/Developer_phone_guide/ZTE_OPEN_C Actual results: device got stuck at bootlogo. Expected results: it should have worked. I managed to shallowflash the flame image v2.0 but with higher versions seems like a bootloop

Are you using the flame or flame-kk images? The latter are for KitKat-based devices and I think the ZTE Open C is based on Jelly Bean so that might be why it's not working.
as I wrote in the description it's working with flame image v2.0. I didn't even tried with other flame 2.0 images. (kk and eng) There are no "clear" flame images above v2.0. only kk versions. Every "clear" flame directory is empty in the nightly repo. So i tried with what was there "kk" and it's not working. I even tried to build higher versions, but building fails for ZTE Open C. I tried the zte open c v2.0+ images on the french mozilla website: signature check fails. So what to do? I really like the Firefox OS and I want to use all the 2.2 options, but it's impossible so far.
I can confirm this bug. I've attached the logs (adb logcat). The one part in the logs is looping. Is this really the KitKat issue?

Unfortunately, some /dumbo/ has removed all non-kk builds. Thank you very much. Now I am not able to restore the phone -__- http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/b2g/nightly/latest-mozilla-central-flame-eng/
(In reply to askmatey from comment #5) > Unfortunately, some /dumbo/ has removed all non-kk builds. Thank you very > much. They weren't deleted, there's no non-kk builds under the main dir because none were made in 2015. The last one was from October 2014: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/b2g/nightly/2014/10/2014-10-08-04-02-03-mozilla-central-flame-eng/
It is nice to know all of this but I think I can speak for all ZTE Open C owners: we need a solution :-) Please provide us idiotproof guidelines so the end-users can update their FF OS as well. Thank you :-)
