STR:
1. login on treeherder (we need this to save jobs stars for example)
2. try to restart/cancel a job

=> I get a basic auth window to authenticate _again_.

I get the underlying reason but still it would be a nice thing to have.

Yeah agree it's not ideal at present - will just require buildapi/releng changes to be able to bypass that auth if the user is logged in with persona, since that comes from them. An added complication is that we'll still have to derive the user's commit level access, since anyone can register on treeherder for persona, but currently only level 3 people can use buildapi.

Are you sure? I think I'm only level 1 but I can use the build api :)
