What happens:
The dropdown that opens has this really thin (probably 1px wide) white strip on the left and right which looks out of place and shouldn't probably be there. This also happens in stable Firefox.
Hi, I would like to try to fix it. Just please tell me how to get the code.

Hey, the best way would be to ask someone on #introduction on irc.mozilla.org to help you find the piece of code responsible for this. You could instead ask on #fxteam as well. http://www.joshmatthews.net/blog/2012/01/answering-questions/ is a good post to read as well to learn how to find out the code yourself.

Tanks a lot. I'll check those out.
If anybody else wants to take this, they are free. I don't think I'll be able to do it.
The search section got updated. I tried to replicate the border issue on latest nightly with no success:
Build ID 20151228030213 | User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:46.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/46.0

Also tried to backtrack the report and tested on an old version: 38.0.1 | Build ID	20150513174244
