Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_9_5) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/39.0.2171.95 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: Opening this h264 url: http://publish.dvlabs.com/democracynow/flash/dn2015-0123.mp4 (or any at that url base with the date form dnYYYY-MMDD.mp4) on firefox 35 on OSX will result in the behavior. Actual results: Opening the above URL on OSX 10.7 results in firefox crashing. In OSX > 10.7 the url will open and the video will play but with a green bar on the right hand side of video playback. Firefox 36 and 37 do not exhibit either behavior on OSX >= 10.7. Versions < 35 of firefox were not tested.
As you said, it's fixed in FF36+.
