User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; FreeBSD amd64; rv:33.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/33.0 Build ID: 20141111180051 Steps to reproduce: Environment: Firefox from PC-BSD 10.1, KDE Desktop. 4 Core, 12 GB RAM Issue-1 : CPU Consumption went abruptly high to recreate go to ndtv.com or any site . Actual results: This symptom is occurring frequently and taking 25% + CPU and 428 MB of memory. So I need to kill firefox.

IM, are you still encountering this issue on the latest Firefox versions (current Firefox 43.0.3, Nightly 46)? https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ https://nightly.mozilla.org/
