Frankly, I see no use of giving effort into mirroring a visual element that has no positive neither negative effect over doing it or not.. It's not really that relevant to RTL :)

Thanks for clarifying Ahmed. UX specs p.4 mention that images that indicate direction should be mirrored, which is what led to the confusion here since there is an arrow pointing to a direction on the image. However I do understand your point, so let's leave this closed for now, and re-open if needed later.
