I'm guessing you have ClearType disabled on that system, and the downloadable font Intel is using does not render well without it. Does it look better if you enable ClearType via the Windows control panel? Note that with default Firefox prefs we're supposed to use ClearType for downloadable fonts regardless of the system setting (see gfx.font_rendering.cleartype.use_for_downloadable_fonts, which should default to true). Which suggests that if you're seeing this result with default settings, there may be a bug in that option. Hmm, looking at bug 504698 where that setting was introduced, it appears it may have been only for WinXP. But maybe we should be doing something similar on newer systems?
