[Flame] Trying to switch on a flame without battery result in looping boot

If you pull out the battery from a Flame, plug it into an energy source and then try to switch it on, it will result in a looping boot over the "Thundersoft" screen: it goes to this screen, then shutdown and come back to it indefinitely. Is this the wished behavior? Should we not be able to use the phone without battery if plugged into an energy source?
The Flame device needs more power than a USB adapter can currently provide.
