Yielding random "Access denied" error message, and causing multiple tests to time out.
:coop - Do the logs point to anything particular we should be looking at?  I'm hesitant to assume this "access denied" error is memory/hard disk related.  But I could be wrong.  Going to run memtest first.

None of the logs really point anywhere other than "holy cow how can a nice new win8 slave run _that_ slowly?" for which I'd have a slight preference for betting on bad disk, since bad memory causing slow rather than causing crashes tends to require something like one whole stick being bad and being disabled by the BIOS.
