Description

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.9; rv:35.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/35.0
Build ID: 20150122214805

Steps to reproduce:

Went to https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/hello/

clicked "try firefox hello" balloon
Upper right, a 'get started' dialog/button comes up.
Clicked that

OSX 10.9.4
16g ram
Firefox 35.0.1

Actual results:

chat window appears at bottom of window
box appears next to it (to the left)
firefox hangs for 3-5 seconds
firefox closes

Expected results:

Not sure, but not a crash.
When it crashed, did a dialog popup to report the crash to Mozilla? Something like https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/mozillacrashreporter?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Mozilla+Crash+Reporter

If there is a report in the Crash Reports folder, that would be really useful.

Thanks for your efforts!

Well... initially I thought it hadn't, but I'm noticing the crash reporter dialogs in my dock, but they hadn't taken focus. I just sent one in, and identified this same bug report # in the comments in that, so hopefully you can perhaps just delete this one if that one has the useful info in it. Sorry for the mistake, but the crash reporter usually takes focus and pops up in front of my screen. It didn't in this case. Thanks.

This report also contains technical information about the state of the application when it crashed.
I don't work on this and it seems to be some OSX specific thing, but someone from the Loop team should be able to see this when they get into work. Thanks for the quick responses.

Crash report link: https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/fca852eb-2087-4fd5-9228-df6fd2150129
Unfortunately, the crash stack doesn't give us much information. Is this still happening, do you have any other crash reports/ids?
Hi, have you had any more crashes? You can get the ids by typing about:crashes into the url bar and then they should be listed.

If you could try updating to the latest version of Firefox as well that would be useful.

Without further responses we can't help this go further, therefore I'm resolving as incomplete.

If you are still having issues, please try updating to the latest Firefox and then trying again. More crash ids may also be useful, as would testing the audio/video loading it on https://mozilla.github.io/webrtc-landing/gum_test.html
