Initial Questions:

Project/Feature Name: Mozilla IRC Public Logging
Tracking ID:1125827
Description:
On Moz Governance I started a discussion to see whether the project should start keeping IRC logs and archiving them on a publicly available website. The motivation of this initiative is:

* Promote increased transparency around decisions made on IRC that have a impact across the web and our project

* Bring this discussion medium into parity with out mailing lists in terms of transparency

There seems to be so far a majority of people in support of bringing this extra transparency to our work.
Additional Information:

Key Initiative: Mozilla Principles
Release Date: 2015-02-28
Project Status: future
Mozilla Data: No
Mozilla Related: Mozilla IRC
Separate Party: No

Please also include Sean Rich. I'm assuming it would fall to IT to manage this data and as IT data steward he should be include in the discussion.
