Steps to Reproduce:

1) Open the Settings app.
2) Go to the Date & Time options.
3) Attempt to set the Time Format (24-hour vs 12-hour)
4) Observe the menu asking you to select 24-hour or 12-hour.

Expected Result
1) Status bar is not visible on top of the menu asking you to select 24-hour or 12-hour.

Actual Result
1) Status bar is visible on top of the menu

I may wrong but any selection field shows the status bar, why this should be the exception?
