User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:35.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/35.0 SeaMonkey/2.32
Build ID: 20141218225909

Steps to reproduce:

I had this problem in two different situations:

You have a mail adress like
Surname, Firstname <surname.firstname@mail.ad>

Then you either click on it in your mail view and chose "Write new mail". Once the new window opens, the mail adress is split into two parts.

Version 2: You start a new mail and type the name until Seamonkey will auto-complete the mail adress. Once you press enter the mail adress will be split into two parts, while other mail adresses work fine.

Actual results:

The results were that the surname endet up with <> in the forst "To:" flield while the second field had the firstname and the correct mailadress (like shown in the attached picture)

This bug happens often, but it might not accure for everyone and it might be hard to reproduce sometimes. I was not able to figure out the circumstances that lead to this bug.

Expected results:

Mailadress should be in one To: field and look line
Surname, Firstname <surname.firstname@mail.ad>
