This is something we want for marketing, and it also gives us an ability to (a) check which other Firefox versions are installed, should we ever need to, and (b) directly open features from elsewhere in the OS.

Let's be careful with (b) because it could be a security issue. See also bug 851693.

Yeah, this is almost the opposite of that bug: rather than parsing URIs into intents, we'd advertise ourselves as supporting firefox:// (or whatever).

We can make the allowed values as limited as we want.
