If you re-order content sections, the content disappears. When you save it comes back so its not lost.
scratch that.... the content can be lost.

Ben, can you give us steps to replicate please?

1. Create a new page. 2. Create 3 text area sections with content. 3. Save and continue editing. 4. Move a text area up (note content is no longer there) 5. Add a text area after the one moved in step #4 6. Add content 7. Click save and continue .. note content you just added is missing, but the vanished content re-appears. This happens on content types with TinyMCE activated.
TinyMCE has perished. Without tinymce form field content looks preserved.
