User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:35.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/35.0 Build ID: 20150122214805 Steps to reproduce: have a high res screen: 3200x1800 and windows 8.1 installed. Clean install of firefox and flash. Go to a website with flash only playback (e.g not youtube). Actual results: Note that the playback controls are tiny. (playtime is not visible). Expected results: playback toolbar should be much bigger. Like 5x bigger. It should scale with screen resolution as HTML5 appears to do. Note that this does not occur in chrome.

I've installed from scratch Fx 36.0.1 and latest Flash 17.0.0.134 - I can play https://games.yahoo.com/game/bad-eggs-online-2.html without any problem on Fx 36.0.1 and latest Nightly 39.0a1. Could you please provide an URL where I can reproduce this issue?

Note: It was Windows 8.1 and adalucinet helped me for Nightly part, and for so much other things.
I have this same issue with a new laptop and Windows 8.1. Definitely appears Flash related. When I right click on a flash object to access the menu it appears the resolution is reduced. I've also noticed some small issues with Shockwave, but not sure if the issues are related.

I reproduced it. Right-click on https://games.yahoo.com/game/bad-eggs-online-2.html created a weird popup impossible to close. Common factors are Flash, right-click and Windows 8.1. I use a PC. So, it does not happens only on laptops. Nightly 39.0a1 (2015-03-30) Windows 8.1 Flash Version 17.0.0.134 Graphic card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 630

Bug not reproduced on Ubuntu 14.04, neither on Windows 8.1 using Internet Explorer 11 or Chrome.

Note: It's tiny on any browser. But when you go to https://games.yahoo.com/game/bad-eggs-online-2.html, and right-click "parameters", you cannot close this popup on Nightly 39.0a1 (2015-03-30)

Hello all, I know this bug is a bit old but we are cleaning up all of the untriaged bugs. Is this still an issue on FF 42.0 or the newest nightly build 45.0a1? Thanks, Justin

Yes, I still have this issue with the newest version of FF. Playback controls are still very small.

No problem Cris, I will go ahead and send this up to a developer.

I should also say, this same issue now persists on Windows 10 as well. Small playback controls in most videos, and some other flash menus, etc.

Bug 1116389 is related as well. Here are a couple screenshots. The issue in Firefox, and normal sizes in Chrome. http://imgur.com/a/2ZmA3

Resolving old bugs which are likely not relevant any more, since NPAPI plugins are deprecated.
