This happens always with 0.9.6: 1) install a new chrome 2) quit mozilla completely 3) restart Mozilla 4) your theme has been switched to Classic (see bug 112877) 5) switch your theme back to modern (for example) 6) quit mozilla 7) restart mozilla Result: Mozilla doesn't start. An error message is displayed instead. My German win2000 says: <errormessage> mozilla.exe - Fehler in Anwendung ================================= Die Anweisung "0x60f28382" verweist auf Speicher "0x002f6160". Der Vorgang "read" konnte nicht auf dem Speicher durchgeführt werden. Klicken Sie auf "OK", um das Programm zu beenden. </errormessage> If you restart Mozilla after this error, everything just works fine.

Matti, unfortunately, no talkback is generated. It seems to crash at a very early stage. I don't even see the splash screen.

Is this still an issue using the latest build?

I am closing this bug unless the link to the langpack that causes this problem is provided and we can reproduce the problem.
