On https://www.amaysim.com.au/my-account/login the mobile number is used as login, but only the password gets saved by the password manager.

What's an example (but fake) phone number for a login?
If I try to login with username=123 password=test, the page shows a input validation error (red box and error text) complaining that it's not a valid mobile number, but the password manager correctly offers to save the password for that username.

While I was checking the user name rules I realised that it is actually working now. I am pretty sure it wasn't at some point when I saved my password and it never updated the existing entry with the user name afterwards. But now I deleted my saved pws and it actually did save the user/pw combination.
Sorry for wasting your time.
If you want to verify, a valid user would be: 0400000000
Btw, why can't I set the bug status to "worksforme"? I only see unresolved, new, assigned, resolved. Thanks

Not a problem. There are various reasons why this could have been the case and bug 1016051 would have probably helped you.
