The Call Congress tool is being built here:https://github.com/MozillaFoundation/plan/issues/263 When it's ready, we may want to link to it from the petition landing page https://sendto.mozilla.org/page/s/FCCvote-net-neutrality The design for that page was finalized here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1121783 **Note that decision to link from landing page is not final. This bug is so we're prepared to move fast if/when decision is made**
Including the Call Congress CTA is a comms challenge too as it is best to frame it within text below in the "The Fight to Protect Net Neutrality" as an alternative way of speaking out (i.e we can add - you can speaking out directly by calling…etc.) and rearranging the text so that sentences like ("That is why it is so important for every American to call or write their member of Congress now.") are closer to the end if we want to add a Call Congress button or link after it. Also rephrasing the last sentence ("We’ll make sure to send your message — along with those of everyone else who speaks out — directly to members of Congress. Let’s protect the open Internet for all. ") --> to something more proactive if they wish to contact Congress them selves I can see it as an alternative CTA within text as a link and/or as a button after the text too but I suggest reworking the copy first so the Call Congress CTA is framed appropriately and doesn't compete with the petition.
Closing this. Tool will not go on landing page.
