This bug will cover the necessary work to do to convert the following test into Marionette.

http://hg.mozilla.org/qa/mozmill-tests/file/default/firefox/tests/functional/testTabbedBrowsing/testCloseTab.js
So I had a look at this Mozmill test and here my proposal:

* Our unit tests are already covering the following strategies: menu, shortcut, and button. So only middle click on an background tab is missing here.

I just wonder if we should have a single test file together with bug 1129634 for opening tabs, so we could name the file test_open_close.py, and have two test methods one for opening via the tabstrip and one other for closing via a middleclick.

Matt and Marc, what do you think?
Priority: P1 → P2
Product: Mozilla QA → Testing

There is good coverage in browser chrome tests so this is not needed, and we are also going to remove the firefox-ui tests.
