Fire E 2.0 Loop 1.1.1/bd1a553 Prerequisites: User A is logged in Mobile Loop application with MobileID. User A has saved contact B with phone number. Contact B is logged in Mobile Loop application with FxA. User A has created and shared a room 1 with contact B Contact B can see invited room 1 in her room list. STRs: 1. User A has open Loop application. 2. Contact B clicks in invited room and taps on "Join" button. 3. Notification is shown in utility tray in User A. Expected result: The notification shouldn't persist on the utility tray because Loop application is open. Actual result: The notification persists on the utility tray, only when User A has deployed the utility tray and taps in notification is deleted.
Well, this is no a regression I think but the way It has worked from the begging. Do we want any notification disappears from the utility try right after it arrives if the app is open? That doesn't make sense IMHO.
After checking with Loli and Jose Antonio how this situation is handled in others apps in FxOS, we have seen that applications as SMS, Wap Push with OMA CP... are behaving in the same way and the notification persists in the Notification tray when the app is on Foreground and user does not tap on it. For that reason we think that it makes sense not changing the implementation and keep the current behavior. So closing this bug as Invalid. Thanks a lot Loli for raising this!
