Build ID: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:38.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/38.0 ID:20150204030234 CSet: 0c2f7434c325 With e10s enabled. STR: 1) Load a URL in a new tab in an existing window. Page loads and URL in location bar matches what is expected. 2) Detach tab by dragging it using the mouse. A new window will load having just one tab. 3) This tab's URL bar only has the subtext 'Search or enter address' and not the actual URL.
Severity: normal → major
This has the additional problem that when the content process crashes, the tab cannot be restored since it seems the location bar URL is used. i.e. after STR, get content process to crash somehow (killing the Web process in system task manager). now all tabs display the tabs crashed page, with a button to restore all tabs. Unfortunately there is no location for the detached tab, so it doesn't load the URL that was loaded before it crashed.
I'm gonna review it and try to work on it.
