And It happens for first 5 times only.

Probably, New UI tour popup panels interfere the click event.

I can reproduce the issue as well using the latest m-c:

I think is related to the "on-boarding" messages that appear once you've installed a new build and start using the new search UI. Once I dismissed the "on-boarding" message, clicking on the suggestions worked without any problems.

STR:

- install a new instance of m-c (I disabled e10s as the pages appear blank under Win 7 which I believe is a known issue)
- once e10s is disabled, clicked on the search field and typed "javas" and selected the "javascript" suggestion (searched for javas)
- did this a few more times with the on-boarding message and got the same results (not searching the clicked suggestion)
- dismissed the on-boarding messages and tried it again, searched the suggestion that was clicked correctly

Attached a quick .gif to illustrate the issue as well.

We should just fix bug 1123620.
Depends on: 1123620

No need to track this particularly, given that it only impacts the first few uses.
No longer relevant due to bug 1123620.
