Hi Arabic localizers!
We have identified a list of broken variables in Arabic on Firefox OS (see screenshot as an example), here is the list: http://transvision.mozfr.org/variables/?locale=ar&repo=gaia
This list is for 2.2. There are also broken variables in previous versions, but since 2.2 work for Arabic is higher priority right now, I would suggest to correct it first there.
Once that's done, you may find the lists for previous versions here:
* 2.1: http://transvision.mozfr.org/variables/?locale=ar&repo=gaia_2_1
* 2.0: http://transvision.mozfr.org/variables/?locale=ar&repo=gaia_2_0
Thanks!

Setting flags since this happens on multiple branches

Hi Delphine
I checked most of them, they are correct and the variable is removed intentionally.
In Arabic for singular and dual (One and Two) we don't use number to describe the value.

Thanks Rami.
In the cases where you don't need a variable, please take it out of the strings so that they don't appear on the phone's screen (as it does now on the screenshot).
If this has been done, can you please mark this bug as resolved fixed? thanks

The issue I mentioned in the screenshot is still occurring as reported in the dupe Bug 1133626
As it looks pretty bad, can we get a fix for this please? Thanks

Fixed anything I can see mistaken and pushed to locamotion, it should appear in the hg repo in an hour or so.

The problem of "{{}}" still existed at utility tray on Flame 2.2/3.0.
STR:
1. Set your phone language to Arabic and insert SIM card.
2. Launch Usage and go to settings.
3. Enable Data use alert and set a upper limit.
4. Some data traffic(Wifi or Mobile) has alrealdy been consumed.
**The data limit at utility tray shown incorrectly.
