Email bug 1130879 was filed about email not displaying \u2600 ☀ "black sun with rays" in an email subject on Flame devices. It appears our font lacks coverage for this glyph any many others from the Miscellaneous Symbols code block (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miscellaneous_Symbols). I'm assuming the best way to address the problem is system-wide, but the email app could of course use webfonts or various kludges to deal with this. Joke bug form: Expected results: Able to concisely warn people of radioactive snowmen using mail subject: "☢☃" Actual results: The radioactive snowmen are now in control.
