Steps to reproduce:

I don't know how this add-on got into my browser but it keeps asking to install. I have NOT specifically requested it and want to delete it.


Actual results:

I am not given the option to remove this add-on but I want to. Why is this here? Is this an authorized Firefox add-on? Is it someone hacking me? I do NOT use id cards!

Updated info.

Apparently this not a hacking attempt. The id card software was installed by yours truly by misteak. Sigh...

The problem remains as to how to remove the code from Firefox. There is currently a request to install an add-on but no apparent way to remove it.

I installed a Debian package of an extension, and got that about:newaddon tab.  The package put stuff into /usr/share/.
