113183 - Form Fields in Modern Theme

Upon accessing sites such as http://www.versiontracker.com, form fields where
you enter text such as a seaerch request don't display therefore the user is
unable to fill out the form. The same problem occured while tring to fill out a
bug report form (such as this). Also when performing a find text request on a
page the field in the dialog that is displayed where you enter the text to find
appears as a thin line and you cant enter text. When I switched to the classic
theme I had no problems viewing or entering data in form fields.

I am using Mozilla 0.9.6, build 2001112020

OPhil, have you by any chance set the XBL form control option in your preferences?

I apologise for my late reply: The computer where I was mailing from was
having some trouble so I am using a different Computer. Strangely enough
when I switched to the modern there the other day I had no problem
whatsoever. I don't believe I changed anything so I will let you know if it
happens again.

WorksForMe. The site and dialogue mentioned are both fine in 2001-12-10-08
build. Marking as WFM. Please reopen and provide more specifics if it occurs again.
