we could do with a script that tests various permutations of host/port flows, for the purpose of outputting a list of all open flows, so we can spot any more that are missing.
This is necessary since netops are not able to output such a list (I wonder how they audit all flows across Mozilla projects; though that is an amusing thought for another day).
Releng apparently have something called fwunit which we could use as a basis for this.

fwunit (https://github.com/mozilla/build-fwunit) requires access to the rule sets, which we don't have, so isn't going to be suitable unfortunately.

I don't think this is worth it any more, we haven't had any flow issues for a while, and once we switch to AWS it will be more clear anyway.
