Currently it seems like viewing callers of functions just links to the start of the calling function. I expect most people want to actually see the call site.
Good news, everyone! :-) This is implemented on the elasticsearch branch (https://github.com/mozilla/dxr/commit/f325c7c7372f3d37b47ff48fb29672142d9ca26e), which we're working on staging right now. You can watch bug 1126877 to see when that's done. The closest thing to a "put it into prod" bug, in case you want to watch that as well, is bug 1127125.
