Description

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:35.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/35.0
Build ID: 20150108202552

Steps to reproduce:

I use firefox with centos 6.4. When I click close button (x) firefox main window disappeared and seems that that's ok.

Actual results:

However, when I want to launch firefox again it gives error - there is another copy. I need to open system monitor, end process and only after that again launch firefox.

Expected results:

Program must be closed but not stay as hidden process.
This is often happening due to some extensions if you get this always.
What you can also try is to use the "refresh Firefox" feature from about:support (enter as URL).

Closing this as incomplete due to inactivity and lack of response from the reporter. Feel free to reopen the bug if the issue still reproduces on a current build.
