Steps to reproduce:

Compose a new message > type first letters of a known reciever (in my adressbook),  the dropdown menu opens, i chose the name/adress of the one i'd like to send an email to (by arrow keys or cursor). 


Actual results:

When i hit "tab" or return to confirm my selection, the first match/entry is filled in automatically. 


Expected results:

The selected reciever should be inserted instead of the first.
This cause of this was fixed for thunderbird 31.5.0 in bug 1043310.
