My mac says that the TB 365.0b1application file is corrupted and that it cannot be run, and should be moved to the trash.
Few Questions, what OSX version are you on? what locale are you using? How did you aquire this version of TB? (Examples of answer): * I went to ftp.mozilla.org/full/path/to/dmg and installed * I previously had TB 34 beta installed and upgraded via the in app update * I built it myself * downloaded from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/ * Some other answer not listed above. When did you install it?
Indeed 36.0b1 is only a candidate build, so far. It shouldn't be available via updates?

I downloaded it from the nightlies directory today and tried it because 34 no longer will send mail. On 10.10.2 for OS X. US english. http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/nightly/36.0b1-candidates/
I downloaded the en-US version of http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/nightly/36.0b1-candidates/ for OSX and installed it successfully in my OSX 10.1.1 Mac Mini (though I get the security warning about an unknown developer that I had to bypass). Because that build will not be used for other reasons, I don't think we should pursue this. James, we will do another build2 of the beta either today or tomorrow. Please check that build when it comes out.
(In reply to James Rome from comment #3) > http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/nightly/36.0b1-candidates/ James, indeed candidate builds are not to be used except for testing. For me it downloaded and installed fine - no corruption message. I also get warning because of security settings on the Mac, that it won't run because is from an "untrusted developer". ANd we have one other person who said it installs and runs OK.
