misfiled, this is not a website security bug. Sorry that likely caused a delay in any response from the seamonkey team.

You might have auto-save turned on (creating drafts as you write the mail), and then it's not deleting the drafts when the mail is sent? Just a guess, don't use SeaMonkey myself.

> That same thing is happening in my email box too! But, for example, if I finished typing a long letter and sent it, I would not know it was in drafts unless I looked. So, let's say I check DRAFTS. There is my letter saved about 10 times with one line of the letter added with each DRAFT. WHAT GIVES! Really annoying! Thanks for any help! Dean

Yes, if you have autosave turned on, occasionally a draft will not get deleted after the sent email is copied to the Sent folder. Also, the drafts folder doesn't always self-compact (like Trash does when it's emptied) -- I suspect these are the same bug, but sometimes the draft email is marked deleted after sending, and sometimes it's not (and then it remains visible), but in either case the real bug is that it didn't get compacted. The Drafts folder can grow to several MB if not occasionally compacted, even if it's only displaying one or two old drafts.

This has been going on for years, I think I first saw it way back in v1.x. The leftover copy in Drafts is also in Sent, at least in every case I've bothered to look at.
